Welcome to the Yeshiva!
Yeshiva Achei Tmimim Academy is located in the heart of New England - in Worcester, Massachusetts. The Yeshiva is a Jewish Day School serving children throughout central and eastern Massachusetts with an outstanding dual curriculum of Judaic and General Studies. During the summer, Camp Gan Israel of Worcester provides six weeks of Jewish fun.
The Yeshiva Synagogue has a daily minyan for Shacharis, Mincha, and Maariv. A Kiddush in served in Shul every Shabbos after davening. Regularly scheduled study sessions and classes take place for men and for women every day at the Shul and in different homes throughout the community. A weekly Shul newsletter is sent out via e-mail to the community (see below) with an updated list of new events.
The Yeshiva runs Chabad Torah Centers in other parts of Central Massachusetts as well. Rabbi and Mrs. Yakov Lazaros established Chabad of Framingham in 1979, Rabbi and Mrs. Levi Fogelman established Chabad of Natick in 1988, and in the last five years Rabbi and Mrs. Michoel Green established Chabad of Westboro, Rabbi and Mrs. Mendy Kievman established Chabad of Milford, and Rabbi and Mrs. Moshe Bleich established Chabad of Wellesley.
Many school and community events take place throughout the year, including a Chanukah dinner, Purim meal and celebration, Pesach party, Lag B'Omer bonfire and barbecue, Shavuos ice-cream Kiddush, an auction, the Model Matzah Bakery, the Shofar Factory, Sukkah parties, the public Chanukah Menorah lighting at Newton Square, and numerous outreach programs.
It is literally impossible to detail the enormous efforts of the Yeshiva on behalf of the individual and community in the greater Central Massachusetts area. The time has arrived to reveal the great Jewish treasure that we of Worcester and Central Massachusetts are fortunate to have in our midst. The question is, do you and I have a good share in this noble enterprise? Should we not provide the heroic leaders of our own community with the resources that will enable them to continue their selfless and idealistic service for all of us?
